DC'S CO-FOUNDER DAMON WAY TO TAKE
STRATEGIC CONSULTANT ROLE FOR THE BRAND

2008年4月1日，DC公司宣布Damon Way(执行副总裁)的职位转为战略顾问，在他的新职位下，Damon Way将继续专注于DC品牌的设计部分与特别项目系列新品。“我感到自己的新职位非常有挑战性”，Damon Way说道，“我将花费更多的精力和时间来把DC品牌变得更加强大！”

Damon Way与合作伙伴Ken Block与1993年创立DC品牌，在过去的14年中，DC品牌对滑板运动以及滑板鞋技术的发展作出了巨大贡献，DC品牌目前已经成为世界知名滑板鞋/服饰品牌之一，2006年由Quiksilver公司入股成为该公司的分支品牌。目前DC品牌在中国大陆地区的授权经销商为上海FLY、北京FLY、郑州FLY、广州HERO、青岛OLDSCHOOL、吉林另类。
 
 
April 1, 2008 – Vista, CA – DC announced today that Damon Way, the brand's Co-Founder and Executive Vice President, will transition to a consultant role for the brand effective immediately.  In his new role, Way will focus on the company's brand positioning projects and continue to guide DC's design based initiatives and DC's Special Projects™, a brand category he created in 2001.
 
While working part time for DC, Way will take on the role of Chief Brand Officer for Incase, where he has been an active shareholder and board member for the past several years. He will work in house for Incase, a product design company based in Los Angeles, CA.
 
"I am very excited for the new challenges that lay in front of me with this transition, as it enables me to engage new opportunities while maintaining a strong connection to DC through the various brand positioning projects in which I am involved," said Damon Way.
 
Way founded DC in 1993 with friend and partner Ken Block. The duo sought to make a significant change in skateboarding shoe styles and elevate skateboarding performance and technology to the highest level. Over the past 14 years, DC has continued to grow and flourish, expanding its line to include women's and kid's footwear, men's and women's apparel, snowboard boots, outerwear, accessories and most recently, snowboards. Damon Way will remain a member of DC's Executive Board along with
Ken Block and DC President Nick Adcock.
